Lining the Most Difficult Projects in the Industry
After a routine inspection of a 3,300 ft. section of sewer pipe that ran through a mountain, to Spout Run Parkway in Arlington County, Virginia, officials discovered significant signs of degradation of the nearly 100-year-old pipe. Concerned about the aging infrastructure, the County wanted to take preventative steps to avoid a possible collapse. When Arlington County released the project for bid in the fall of 2022, a dozen contractors requested the bid. However, only two contractors actually submitted bids … a sign of the project’s complexities. The winning contractor relied on United Felts’ product and technical expertise to ensure a successful rehabilitation.
QA/QC
As a 100% vertically integrated liner manufacturer, we have full control over the quality of every liner that goes out the door. Every phase of manufacturing – from custom needling, in-house coating, liner assembly, and joining of the seams every liner that goes out the door undergoes our 33 stage QA/QC test in our ISO certified facility. It is the only way to ensure our liners will withstand the test of time.
United Felts has established and refined an ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Control Program to ensure that all material and workmanship exceed the minimum standards and guarantees the finished product/facility performs according to established process specifications and procedures.
We are also ISO 9001:2000 certified, allowing United Felts liners to be manufactured to any dimension specified and fabricated to virtually any size and thickness while meeting ASTM F1216 and ASTM F1743 17 standards.
